E. Alston Meeks Jr. was born in Memphis TN where he still resides. He is currently a financial strategist with Memphis Capital and has been involved in the auto and finance industry. He is a working musician playing piano and singing with his band and a volunteer in his church choir. Alston commits to volunteer work with a myriad of organizations to better the community.

Cheryl Calcote was born in Memphis, TN and grew up in Southaven, MS. Having lived her adult life in several states, she returned to Memphis in 2006. She has three grown children. Her career experience includes substitute teaching in Memphis City Schools, being Director of Finance at a local nonprofit organization, and currently managing the office of a civil engineering firm in downtown Memphis. She is a proud member of the Log Cabin Republicans TN Chapter, and an unequivocal supporter of the America-first philosophy of American governance.
